Farm & Factory TAMURA, Japan's largest completely closed plant factory. Automated up to harvesting
We delivered an automated plant factory jointly developed with A-Plus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture) to the completely closed plant factory "Farm & Factory TAMURA". The plant factory started operations in December 2020 and started harvesting in February 2021.
"Farm & Factory TAMURA" was jointly developed by A-Plus and ESPECMIC to automate the cultivation process from sowing to transplanting (replanting) and harvesting. We worked on a full set of cultivation equipment that controls the environmental parameters required for growing plants, such as lighting, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and cultivation solution.
